Broadhembury Village Matters

On November 5th a group of some 30 residents met to discuss concerns about development proposals said to feature in the Parish Council’s yet-to-be-published Neighbourhood Plan. It was agreed to mount a challenge to these proposals since they were considered – by almost all at the meeting – to be vastly disproportionate in scale, destructive of the village’s unique historical environment and based on a now obsolete context. A Steering Group was formed to lead efforts to promote the issue and mobilise support for a challenge to this element of the Neighbourhood Plan.
