Broadhembury Village Matters

Last night the Steering Committee of BVM and a large group of supporters filled the Village Hall to capacity to register their concerns about the development proposals in the PC’s Neighbourhood Plan and to seek responses to unanswered questions. Towards the end of the discussion PC Chairman Bob Nelson stated that “If the village residents do not want the development, it will not happen”. As time given to the discussion was limited, BVM was not able to explore the council’s proposals, or their justification for them, in depth. The PC offered a further meeting to explore the issues in more detail, which BVM accepted.
